How can I schedule an appointment?

You can schedule by call, text, online, or via the Vagaro app. Click the Book Online link from the main menu.

How do I choose the right treatment?

Kali can answer some general questions before meeting, or you can book a complimentary consultation which involves a facial cleansing and skin analysis.

Can I wear makeup to my appointment?

If your day before your session calls for makeup, we will remove it during the cleansing, no problem. Just please keep in mind a full face of foundation or mascara cuts into time for  some of the more enjoyable moments.

What should I wear to my facial?

Come as you are! You will be able to disrobe to your level of comfort; you will be covered up under sheets and blankets. For the neck/shoulder/decollete massage portion, it is best to be undressed from the shoulders up so there are no straps or sleeves to hinder flow, but it is always left to your discretion. A spa gown is also available to you.

Also, please remove necklaces, earrings, rings, watches, and bracelets. There is space for you to store your things in the room.

What methods of payment are accepted?

Cash, Venmo, Visa, Mastercard, AmEx, or Discover (including Samsung Pay & Apple Pay)

What if I am late?

Your promptness is greatly appreciated and necessary to fulfill your service in its entirety. As a courtesy to the clients following you, your session will still end at the scheduled time and you will be responsible for the full treatment price. (If there is a gap in the schedule, Kali will be able to extend your service!) Unexpected things happen at times, so please try to schedule enough time in your day to arrive promptly.

What is "spa ettiquette"?

As Kali Aesthetics is located in a multi-salon environment, we all strive to do our part to make everyone's visit enjoyable. 

Please always silence your cell phone and no talking in the hallways.

Should I tip? What is normal?

Tipping is optional, but if your service meets or exceeds your expectations, it is always appreciated. The industry standard is 15-20% of your services pre-discount. You can add any amount to your credit card transaction. Thank you!

What is your cancellation policy?

Because services are a reserved time just for you, please give 24 hours notice to cancel or change your appointment. 

50% of the price of the scheduled service will be charged if less than 24 hours notice is given or for  a "no show".

If your canceled appointment is able to be rebooked by someone else, even on short notice, you will not be charged!

Do I need to tell my esthetician about prescription medications or allergies?

Skin care is personal, so let's get it right! It is very important that the information you list on your intake form is true and accurate. For example, drugs like Retin-A, Accutance, and Renova are not recommended for use before waxing and facial treatments. Your esthetician can discuss contraindications to any drugs or allergies.
